Check this out.
My response: Cool, but I’m not getting my hopes up too much. Good novels (Eragon, Harry Potter, Interview with the Vampire, etc.) were ruined in their movie adaptation. However, the Painted Man (Warded Man in US titled) is one different novel, but you never know.
Since I’m on a tight budget, I’m waiting for the paperback to be really cheap to get it… I really love the book, but the book prices are so expensive in Australia. The small paperback is $20, while the large paperback is $30. It’s honestly not worth to get at a time of recession. Not to mention, that I’m currently not working.
End of Doom

My end of mid-year exams are over! I’ve finished this morning my art history slide test. It wasn’t such a hard exam, as it didn’t feel like it was the HSC, where my hand would be getting cramps. I felt that in history, and I felt uncertainty if I did well enough in that exam.
So exams are over and done with. Glad about that, for a moment. I still have one class to attend, which this Friday, and I have to finish my final project, which is due the same day. And I need to hand in previous works, as well as my working journal. Lovely…
And news-update!
I’m finally working on my current new graphics site. Currently, I am at an irritating stage of the design. Try and guess what stage it is that I’m up to, and I’ll give you a home-made choc-chip cookie. Tempted to find out?
Oh, and I ordered 07-Ghost manga a week ago from The Book Depository and it had come via mail rather quickly, and at the perfect time, when I have time to read it (having no exams to study for). The Book Depository is a good and cheap place to get manga (if they are discounted!). Plus, they have free international shipping, so that’s a big bonus! Here’s an image of the newly bought manga (you can see the headlight upon it! XP)
I actually liked the manga, despite its complexity (which is good in a way). It is a shounen series, yet on mangaupdates, it is shown as a Josei series. :/ Odd, but I could see in some ways that it could be a Josei series. But then, my perception is rather faulty since I haven’t read many Josei series. I might try reading Josei, but some of them remind me of television soap dramas in a way. Maybe anyone know any good titles to try? Or any kind of series at all?
